Unique Approach

After working with soldiers and families for the past two years it became clear to me that I wanted to create an innovative approach to grief trauma and healing.

One reason that Mercaz Tali stands out is that while we are open to everyone, we also provide specialized ongoing groups for wounded soldiers, lone soldiers and their wives.who are often underserved. These cohesive groups foster buddy systems, ensuring that participants support one another.

Mercaz Tali is one of a kind in providing a spiritual experience in an atmosphere that immediately calms the nervous system. Meditation, journeying, sound therapy and connecting with oneself and a higher purpose are paramount for healing trauma.

What makes Mercaz Tali truly unique is our integrative approach. We offer an array of services, because we recognize that sometimes no single therapy works for everyone. When blending holistic, spiritual  and traditional therapies, we’ve seen members achieve long lasting breakthroughs that were not possible with a single approach. At Mercaz Tali, we believe that difficult feelings can be transformed through joy, love, wonder, and fun. This creative process promotes resilience, hope and empowerment. We heal when we connect to inner wellbeing and to a higher state of purpose.

If not now, when?

From love and loss, The Tali Center is born. Tali was a survivor of the shooting of the girls' school on the Jordanian border in the 90’s. She believes that the unresolved trauma caused her cancer. My promise to her near the end was that I would create a center in honor of her spiritual journey home, and to try to save others from the effects trauma has on one’s life. Mercaz Tali is a non profit healing oasis in nature. Trauma therapy, ongoing psychotherapy, and holistic healing are available for all ages, along with retreats and family fun days, that will  provide activities that make room for love and joy and strength again. I am available to speak about the unprecedented trauma people are experiencing from the view point of a therapist volunteering with the soldiers and families. Feel free to reach out and support our people. “If not now, when?”

Together, we can create a place of healing and hope. A place where silence turns to song, pain turns to purpose, and trauma gives way to renewal.

The Tali Center: because when Israel is vulnerable, none of us is safe. And when we help each other heal, we all grow stronger.
